Star Assurance being a service industry attaches great importance to offering excellent customer satisfaction to our valued clients.In our effort to constantly create smiles and deliver delightful claims services, Star Assurance Company Limited has a formidable claims team made up of staff that are technically knowledgeable, detail oriented and great with customers.Following an increased desire to enhance customer experience and pay prompt claims, a Claims Administrator was appointed in the past year to be in charge of all communication relating to claims.In the year under review, Star Assurance was hit by major claims which demanded immediate attention and compensation. Among the major claims settled include:

• A recent Advance Payment Guarantee default by Mabani 7 Company up to a tune of $5,800,000.00
• An own damage motor claim of GH₵ 620,000.00 paid out to Unibank Ghana Limited under the assured name Odo Kyereh Company Ltd
• An own damage claim pf $100,000.00 paid out to Nana Appiah Mensah
• Goods in transit loss of GH₵ 254,960.24 and GH₵ 230,691.51 paid as separate claims to Ghana Nuts limited
• $50,369.52 paid out to Engineers and Planners Ltd
• $60,000.00 paid out to Adelaide Ahwireng for a total loss of a motor cover
• GH₵152,431.23 paid to Siemens Oil And Gas Equipment Ltd
• GH₵130,200.00 claimed by Ecobank Ghana under the assured name Kassim Atta Yahya for an own good damage.
• An own damage claim made by Ide Ghana GH₵136,577.79
