School for the Blind by donating a Water Tank with storage capacity of 2500 gallons. This need was identified in a previous visit to the school when Star Assurance donated a Baille Emborser to the school. Receiving this new gift, Madam Mahela the headmistress of the school, was full of appreciation to Star Assurance for such kindness shown them over the years. She indicated that the Braille Embosser had greatly helped the students as they are able to print past questions and other important learning materials for the students to prepare them adequately for exams.
Presenting the item Moses Atobrah the Marketing Manager, stated that supporting education, health, road safety and in recent times football, are areas of interest as far as our corporate social responsibility is concerned. We therefore find it appropriate supporting our challenged brothers and sisters in this school. He also pledged a personal donation of microphones, PA systems, piano, 16 channel mixer and power amplifier to be delivered in two weeks time to support their lovely choir.
