Chief Operating Officer
Adelaide is a seasoned insurance professional with over 25years experience in the Insurance Industry. She started her career as a motor underwriter and by dint of hard work and competence she rose through the ranks to become the General Manager (Technical) in January, 2019 and currently appointed Chief Operating Officer.
She has over the years gained a strong technical experience in Insurance Underwriting and claims having worked as a Branch Manager, General underwriting unit, Head of Broker unit and supervising head of Southern sector branches comprising 13 branches.
Her specialization have been in claims management with over 25years working experience in claims management.She is a team player, has a strong passion to succeed and offer sound technical advisory service to the Insurance Industry. She has served on several technical committees for the Insurance Industry. She is currently a chairperson of the Motor Compensation Fund Committee established by the National Insurance Committee and also serves on the technical and Publicity committees of the ECOWAS Brown Card Scheme.
Adelaide is a chartered insurer and an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK). She attended Crestcom management course (UK) in 2017. She also holds a Diploma in Insurance from West African Insurance Institute, Gambia. She graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a B.A. degree in Social Science and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the GIMPA Business School. She has attended several managerial and insurance courses which have given her the wealth of experience.
