Samuel holds MSc Risk Management from the Glasgow Caledonian University (UK), International Diploma in Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management (UK), Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK), and BSc in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from the University of Ghana.

He worked with Edward Mensah Wood and Associates Limited as the Underwriting and Marketing Manager before joining Star Assurance Company in 2013.

He has attended several trainings and seminars organized by both local and international organisations including Munich Re, National Insurance Commission, and Mainstream Re in areas of risk management and corporate governance.
